QTS Celebrates the 2023 New Year in Morning Circle
QTS Drummers and Singers from Ms. Lucy Ross’s Culture Class drummed in the students and staff on a cold January 3, 2023 School Year. Principal Cole Peregrine led the circle and had the little students gather with their bigs and the kids talked about what was good about 2022, challenges of 2022 and what they want to learn in 2023. Elder Leroy Black spoke to students about the importance of singing and dancing in the new year and what that means in Indian Country.
